What are the benefits of this new system?
A really simple/intuitive, nicely formatted display/system to help you manage your software. You see all the addons that you own, along with their licensed domains, all relevant upgrade notifications/links, and all download links in one simple list. It's possible that you're entitled to free upgrades, and/or that you weren't previously even aware that upgrades were available. With the new system you can see all of this information at a glance. Requesting new domains for existing software is fully automated; you simply type in the domain that you want to add, and then tick the software that you want to use on that domain, and then continue the remaining simple order steps to get your new license key file. No more license key emailing/calculations. Before this new system was introduced processing license keys was a bit of a nightmare, from our side and from our customers' side. This has now totally changed, and license keys are fully automated. As soon as you get a new piece of software or an upgrade you'll automatically be given a download link for your new license key file along with the download links for the software as soon as the payment has been made. No delay whatsoever; as soon as the payment has gone through the gateway you'll get the links and be able to use the software right away. No timeouts. The new system will not time out on you (ever), so you can keep the browser tab/window open for as long as you like and never lose the context/contents that you had. The mini-cart contents won't time out on you, neither will any info that you might have half-entered, and neither will your overall "session". Automated bundling logic. If you buy/upgrade a bundle then it'll automatically give/upgrade you with the corresponding sub-modules. Likewise, if you buy/upgrade sub-modules that make up a bundle then it'll automatically give/upgrade you the corresponding bundle(s) as soon as your sub-modules "add up" to a corresponding bundle's sub-modules. This means that you have a choice of upgrading individual sub-modules, or an overall bundle, depending on the respective costs and what you need, and the system will automatically give you the latest/biggest bundles whenever your submodules allow it. |
